Shailesh Lodha is an Indian actor and writer. He is known for playing the role of Taarak Mehta(a real-life Gujarati columnist) in India & longest running sitcom serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma since July 2008.

It is worth noting that at the age of nine he was nicknamed “Baal Kavi”. He was the main presenter for “Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai” telecast on SAB TV during 2012-13.

Shailesh Lodha is also an author and has four books to his credit. He enthrals thousands of audience with his oratory skills when he is on the stage. He has also been awarded by International Vaish Federation. He is also awarded Bharat Gaurav and Rajasthan Gaurav. He has also won The Zee Gold Award for Best Anchor in 2014. Srajan also has the privilege of awarding Shailesh Lodha with Vedanta Hindustan Zinc Srajan Award in the year 2016. He
was also awarded Hakim Khan Suri Award by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation in 2017. He is married to Swati Lodha who is a renowned management guru and author.
