Ustad Ahmed Hussain
A Legacy of Music
Our legendary patrons Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Ustad Mohammed Hussain, famously known as the Hussain Brothers, were born in 1951 and 1953 respectively in the historic city of Jaipur, in a family where music was inherited.
They imbibed music at an early age under the guidance and supervision of their father Ustad Afzal Hussain, the then Maestro of music. In 1959 they started their career as child artists in All India Radio Jaipur as classical and Thumri singers of the Jaipur Gharana. With years of experience, hours of rigorous training and Riyaz, they achieved soulful rendition.
With an enormous number of stage, radio, TV programs, and concerts all over the world along with 100+ albums, they have touched the hearts of millions of people across India and overseas. Their first album "Guldasta" was released in 1980 and accredited as a milestone, followed by 100+ albums.
